Hi Earl - love the show. I\\\\\\\'ve only just discovered your podcast and I\\\\\\\'m slowly working my way through your older episodes.

As an Australian, I never had the opportunity to use Quantum Link, although I remember being fascinated by the ads in the magazines of the time. I really, really wanted to try it out, but the phone bills would have been a killer! Now I can finally see what all the fuss was about.

I seem to recall reading that one of the online systems at the time - it could have been Q-Link or maybe GEnie - was actually run on business computers, which was the reason for it only being available after hours. I tried searching Google for any references, but so far I have not found anything. I _know_ the article I read is in a magazine I have, but given the large number of old 8-bit magazines I have (I never threw any magazines or books out - I still have quite a library of old material) I wouldn\\\\\\\'t know where to start looking.

I have found one article by one of the original Q-Link developers which may be of interest to you. http://www.floodgap.com/retrobits/ckb/display.cgi?33

Anyway, just want to say that I really enjoy your show and I appreciate the effort you have been putting into this.
